I'll show you mommy...

London is so funny! She is in the bath tub and I go to wash her hair. I just have a cup that I fill with water and dump a few times over her head to wet her down which she basically hates. She gets so mad especially when I start pouring shampoo in my hand. So after I got her hair all wet I went to grab her Shampoo and as I was just about to open it she grabs a sand bucket that she plays with in the tub and starts heading for me with this look in her eyes like "Ill show you mommy!" Just before she had a chance to dump it on me I pushed it out of the way managing to avoid getting completely soaked! a little bit of my jeans got wet and my whole arm but I'm pretty sure if she would have done it a few seconds earlier I would have been soaked from head to toe. Funny girl..

Well this past weekend we went to Cardston to visit our families and London got to bake cookies with Grandma. She had so much fun! She helped add all the ingredients, mix it together and put it on the pan. After all the dough was placed on the pan... and in London's mouth , London helped Grandma put the cookies in the oven. She had so much fun baking with Grandma Redford and Loved handing cookies out to everyone when they were done!

Park Lake!

We had a really fun time this weekend with Jeff's Parents and his brother Carter at Park Lake! London Loved being out in the water even though it was pretty cold. She also loved being out in our little blow up boat with Jeff. She wanted to be the one to paddle the boat. It was pretty cute! She also loved playing on the little boogie boards with grandma. she would lay on the board while Grandma pulled her around by the string that is attached to the front of the board. I think we were all tired and ready to come home after a few hours though but it was definitely worth the trip just to see London having so much fun!

The Little Mermaid

London has found a new movie to put at the top of her list. The first one she fell in love with was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. She wanted to watch it constantly.. Next up was The Princess and the frog which she just calls Tia shortened for the name of Princess Tiana in the movie. Next up was the Toy Story movies! My mom bought her stuffed Buzz and Woody toys and she carries them everywhere. She is still obsessed with anything toy story and hasn't quite gotten over that but she has found a new favorite.. and the winner is.. The Little Mermaid although London likes to call it "meemee". Its pretty funny. when she wants to watch it she goes meemeeeee ...meemeeee. At this exact moment she is dancing with her Ariel Barbie to the song under the Sea. So Cute!! I'm sure if she didn't like playing outside so much, she would just want to watch movies all day.

Londons Animal Sounds

London loves doing her animal noises. Its pretty cute. they arent totally acurate but I would say they are pretty good for a 21 month old.

Day at the Park

London and I went to the park yesterday. She was having a great time climbing all over the place and sliding down the slides. London likes to hide under blankets and behind furniture and other objects and I always say I always say.. I SEE YOU.. so anyways back to the park. we were at the playground and she is climbing up some stairs to get the the top of the play structure but she stops and looks out through the railing and says .. I SEE YOU MOMMY!

It was so cute! Its funny how the simplest things can make your whole day. London is so loving and she is learning so quickly. She is very observant and just absorbs everything we say and do around her! I love it! I love being a mom

Ba da ba ba ba...I'm Lovin It

It seems whenever we are watching a tv show there is always a commercial for McDonalds and whenever it comes on London copies the little jingle at the end of the commercial..Ba da ba ba ba!
So we were surprised when we drove by McDonalds one day and as we passed the Golden Arches we heard a little tune come from the back seat.. Ba da ba ba ba.. London Recognized the Mc Donalds sign from the commercials. It was so funny!

London is so funny!

London was trying to put her Mrs. potato Head pieces in or on the corresponding parts on her body. She had the ear piece in her ear when Jeff said "No London", After which Jeff picked up one of our couch pillows and pretended he was going to throw it at her then London Just looked at Jeff and said, " Daddy, Calm down!"

It was so funny! London has got a little attitude on her. She is definitely entertaining!

London cares!

So London is learning a lot of new words and sayings, one of her favorites being "what are you doing?" She loves the toy story so she walks around saying Buzz all the time. But the best was when she asked me "are you alright?"

I was going out to our kitchen a couple days ago and I stubbed my toe on the edge of our coffee table which really hurt! I was a big baby about it and was yelling OW OW OW!

London quickly ran to my side and looked at me and said "are you alright, are you alright?"
I was like "yes London I'm alright."

She said "Okay," and went back to playing

So I guess my daughter loves me and cares about me! I guess I'm doing something right!
